Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity can play an important part in making your college and post-graduate experience positive, fulfilling, and rewarding. Phi Beta Sigma is an International Fraternity with chapters spread across the United States, U.S. Virgin Islands, Guam, Europe, Africa, Japan, and South Korea. While its members are diverse, they share certain ideals in common. In Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity -
Brotherhood, Scholarship, and Service are the significant influences. In genuine Brotherhood there develops among men a common cause that brings out their best. Membership Requirements


Membership in this Fraternity shall be limited to college men who have completed at least one grade period in a recognized college or university. Except where such requirement conflicts with the rules and regulations of the college or university at which a chapter of this Fraternity operates. They shall be eligible for membership in this Fraternity upon meeting such other requirements and qualifications as the By-Laws of this Fraternity may require, except that membership or non-membership in a particular race, or belonging to a particular religion or being of a particular national origin shall not be a requirement for membership in this Fraternity.

A person who is, or has been a member of another intercollegiate fraternity other than an honorary or professional fraternity, is ineligible for membership in this Fraternity.

 


Categories of Membership


COLLEGIATE/ UNDERGRADUATE:
Men currently matriculating an accredited four year College/University on a semester system must have a minimum of 12 credit hours and a minimum GPA of 2.5. Individuals attending a College/University on a quarterly system must have a minimum of 30 credit hours and a minimum GPA of 2.5. Verification of transcript is required.

 

ALUMNI/ GRADUATE:
Verification of transcript and diploma is required or Collegiate/Undergraduates with 90 or more credit hours of a minimum of 2.5 GPA. Verification of transcript required.
